Food for Thought - How a gratitude list and positive thinking can help you create what you want In my ezine, Creating Your Own Path, last month, I wrote about the importance of taking time to give thanks for the gifts in your life and not to be so intent upon getting everything done on your “Holiday To Do List. If you watched the Larry King Live show in November, you’ll know he had two episodes on the power of positive thinking. The panelists were participants in the movie The Secret Movie and they all agreed that positive thoughts are what activates the Law of Attraction in your life. Focusing on what you are grateful for by writing a gratitude list generates positive thoughts. It puts you not only in a state of appreciation but also in a position to attract abundance. Your mind and energy are focused in a positive direction towards what you want. If you focus on what you want in a positive way, you are more likely to create those things in your life. This goes from material things to improved relationships, money, peace of mind, anything we want more of in our lives. When you focus, you are open to the many possible ways to make your dreams materialize and you become inspired to do those things. So be thankful towards your friends and family this season, and begin to live in a place of abundance and appreciation more frequently in your life.
